Tim Prater Reporting Back from KCC: July 2026
The July 2026 monthly update from Tim Prater as County Councillor for Cheriton, Sandgate and Hythe East.
A message from Steff Aquarone MP
Our focus is on moving North Norfolk forward, and ensuring every resident and every community secures a fairer deal. First and foremost, that means fighting residents’ corners and championing our communities on North Norfolk District Council and Norfolk County Council, while holding Conservatives to account for their actions.
It also means re-taking the parliamentary seat in North Norfolk, and ensuring tireless campaigner Steffan Aquarone is standing up for our shared values in Parliament.
Whether it’s in Cromer or Westminster, we’re working hard -- alongside residents just like you -- to build a new kind of politics; one that puts the interests of local families ahead of party politics and fights for what’s right for North Norfolk.

Following three weeks of missed bin collections for some residents, Bristol Liberal Democrats have called for Bristol Waste and the council to implement an immediate, city-wide recovery plan.
This is a joint role supporting Liz Jarvis MP and Eastleigh Lib Dems. Organise campaigns and volunteers for local and national elections, plus deliver non-party political media and communications for the MP's office.
The Liberal Democrats have a long history and a clear, unique, set of values and principles. The North Norfolk Liberal Democrats work incredibly hard to provide strong local councillors and activists. We stand up for residents, support communities and give local people a voice.
