Let visitors help invest in North Norfolk’s future

North Norfolk welcomes millions of visitors every year. Tourism supports jobs and local businesses, but it also puts pressure on local services, roads, beaches and public spaces.

Many popular destinations in the UK and across the world ask visitors to make a small contribution that is reinvested directly into the places they enjoy - funding local services, protecting the environment, and supporting communities - without reducing visitor numbers.

North Norfolk Liberal Democrats are asking whether residents support exploring a similar approach here, with any funds raised spent locally and transparently.

I support North Norfolk exploring ways for visitors to contribute directly to local services and community investment.
